5. Finally, turn on Access with Voice Match.
6. Once your Voice Search gets activated, just say Hey Google or Ok Google based on your device, and it will automatically detect your voice.
Note: If you want to disable Voice Control on the Google app, follow the above steps and turn off Access with Voice Match instead of On.

How to Activate Voice Control on Android using Voice Access App
Apart from Google Assistant, Android has another built-in voice-controlled app that is Voice Access. It is an accessibility service mainly developed for users facing difficulties or who cannot use the touchscreen or simply for convenience.
1. To activate Voice control, download the Voice Access app from the Play Store.
2. Now, launch the Android phone’s Settings app.
3. Scroll down and hit the Voice Access option.
4. Click the on/off switch.
5. Then, say Ok Google to turn on Voice Access on your device.

How to Activate Voice Control via Shortcut
Using the shortcut method is not a popular method to activate or launch Google Assistant. But it’s another normal option to activate the Android voice commands. Like other apps, Google Assistant has an app shortcut, which you will find in the app drawer.
- Just simply drag this app shortcut to the home screen, by doing this, you can easily access it. You can just long-press the app and add it or drag it to your home screen.

Activate Voice Control on Android by Swipe Up or Long Press Home Button
This method is one of the easiest ways to launch Google Assistant and activate android voice commands. Using Android 4.1 and above, you can swipe up from the center button to open the app and begin commanding through your voice. For those who are using Android 5.0 and above, Google 6.13 or higher, the quickest method is just long-press the home button. From the home screen, just long-press the home button. How to Troubleshoot Voice Access on Android
There may be times you may not be able to access Voice Control on your Android phone or tablet. In that case, you shall try the below fixes.
- Make sure you have the latest version of Voice Access.
- Keep your Google app up-to-date.
- You shall try speaking slowly and clearly.
- Try to repeat the voice command once again.
